We learned of the winery from the couple seated across from us at the Apolloni wine dinner last week. A visit to the Ardiri website showed that they are dog friendly, so we took a drive out there today to see the place ourselves. The setting is absolutely beautiful. I can only imagine what it would be like on a clear day.
Along the side of the tasting room there are tables where you can sit outside when the weather’s nice and enjoy your wine. Around the front of the tasting room, there’s a fire pit area with beautiful views of Mt Hood on a clear day.
Can’t you just see yourself sitting there, chatting with friends around the fire, and enjoying some wine?
I love how they created different seating areas. There’s a whole other area with grass and picnic tables that I didn’t take a picture of. There’s definitely plenty of space to sit outside and enjoy the afternoon with your dog along.
Inside the tasting room there are also fire pits. It appears that the entire area can be opened up during the warmer months. It’s a beautiful space.
Unfortunately, we didn’t have time to stay and try the wine. It was pretty crowded in the tasting room. This just means that we’ll have to go back with Kendall when the weather is nice.
Do you have any recommendations for other dog-friendly wineries for me to add to the map? If so, let me know? I’ll stop by for a visit and post some pictures.
